Together with my friends from OCTAGON Architekturkollektiv, we've been shortlisted for the 2nd phase of a master plan in Luxembourg city.

 I was honored to announce the birth of Léonard, the son of my friends Juliette and Pierre-Louis. Also a bit scared to fly over a brand new baby :)

 🎞🍿 From movies to books 📚☕️

The city of Metz (FR) launched an open call to takeover its former cinema. We teamed up with the bookshop Hisler Even to propose a concept store dedicated to books.

I launched a shop where you can buy stuff based on your name but to be able to read your name you'll have to solve a small riddle. Check it out here.

BEL VAL SPLASH

BEL VAL SPLASH : A didactic pavilion hosting an exhibition revealed by throwing water on walls !

The Bel-Val water was one of Luxembourg’s biggest success story. It gave its name to the current Belval district but this incredible story was forgotten.

Invited to design a pavilion that reanimates the story of this water shipped worldwide, we proposed to use concrete pipes as the main constructive components, since they are the elements that transport water. These pipes are built in Luxembourg by CONTERN who assured us that they will get the pipes back and reuse them, the day the pavilion will get dismantled (no material waste).

The inner scenography is made through a partial hydrophobic treatment with stencils and will be entirely invisible until somebody throws water on it. The contrast between the dry and wet parts reveals the rich iconography of this amazing story. As the presence of water turned a banal farm into a success story, it turns here some basic concrete elements into a rich and poetic panorama.

Feasibility study and marketing material for a mobility campus in Luxembourg. 

PLEY

To celebrate the five years of Leipzig's faculty of architecture and social science, I've been asked to invent something. I came up with the idea of creating a game Starting with a card game that acts as an ice breaker, the teams (formed by one architect and one social specialist), were invited to investigate how spaces and people influence each other in the city of Leipzig. I was happy to hear that the game was played at the beginning of this year with the new students. Find out more here

Müllerthal Mini Trail | 1st Prize

Together with Lacord architecte, we took part to a small competition to design the starting point of the Müllerthal Trail in the charming city of Echternach (LU). We were supposed to design a piece of art that could be placed on a public square, but our proposal was to reshape to whole square. And we won the 1st Prize  ! We can't wait for this to be implemented! More about the project here
